Reminiscences of My 2011

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE ! Are you ready for 2012 ?! You can't say NOT YET because it's already 2012 ! Here I wanna do a reminiscences of my 2011. Oh well I did it every year, but I think I experienced and learnt new things the most in 2011.

So what was I doing during the New Year last year ? Hell yea, was having my last dinner with my family at The Ship before I go for national service at Kem Putra Sentosa in Sarawak. SARAWAK !!?! That's very far you know :'( And I didnt know why was my mom willing to part with me D: D: D: Not until ... ...

January
Not until I reached Sarawak after an hour flight, called back to report that I've reached safely, and I heard my mom was crying from the other side :'( And when I reached my camp, family members started to call again, asking abt the environment, the foods, and did I make any new friends... ...

But if you want me to conclude these 70 days in a sentence, I would say that "I'm glad that my mom forced me to attend national service to experience new things,

(for example...)

meet new people from different regions in Malaysia,

(for example... ... :D)

and be INDEPENDENT. "

Meeting this bunch of great friends is the biggest gift from God in 2011. Just so you know when you're assigned to a new environment without family and buddies, these are the people who you can rely on. When you're in hot water, when you're facing problems, they are all who can help.

Besides, I've joined so many dancing activities in the camp. Most importantly I had the chance to perform in front of dato datin and people from another camp (I SAW ALEXANDRIA & JOEH MENG FROM THE STAGE!!). Imagine, 800 people in front of me, I've major stage fright you've to know. Then, I WAS IN THE NEWSPAPER THE NEXT DAY ! Nyehehehe :3

February
It was CNY and they allowed us for 4days break from national service's life. I remember I had really sweet and comfy slumber during the 3 nights in my own room.

March
It was a very happening month indeed !

Joined a beauty contest for the very first time in my life. HAHAHAHWTH beauty contest!? People in camp nominated me one okay :( :(

Dancing alone in front of the judges and camp commander. D: D: The courage I did this was gone I guess .___.

Then my NS life ended. Came back with much contradictory feel. I wanted to leave the full-of-mosquitoes-camp and I dont wanna wash the clothes on my own anymore :P But I didnt wanna separate with my NS buddies as well :'( I cried and hugged a lot on that day. That kind of cry was the same as the cry when I leave my home for NS. lolwth. Anyway, life's like this !

Few days later I had my very first OPERATION in my life. I was being pushed out on a bed by nurses from the operation room. I CRIED SO HARD , it was as hard as the cry when I left NS camp. HAHAHA. But I cried because of the pain. I'm feeling so lucky that the operation was safe, and I'm so so fine right now :D

And then, SPM RESULTS DAY ! Again, I cried when headmistress announced my name in the straight A's student list, but this time not as hard as the cry when I left NS camp. Was so grateful to Mr Wong, Ms Pakia, Mr Deva and those buddies who fought hard together with me before SPM.

After that, my college life has started.
I always wanted to get into college life when I was studying in high school. Why ? 'cause I can wear anything I like to college MUAHAHAHA !

Joining MCKL is the most right choice I've made. It's really an awesome college !!! Small yet lovely. Everyone is so friendly and so are the lecturers !

How would I left out my lovely S1103b !

First smart phone in my life ! Baby HTC :3
Mommy bought it as a reward for me for getting straight A's in SPM. And it costs my mom for almost 2k. Oh well, I promise, I will use it for at least 3 years !
July
A new addition to our family! Eldest sis gave birth to a baby girl and she's officially a mommy, I'm officially an aunty now !

August & September
First family trip after 8 years ! The last time we went traveling was in 2002, we went to Korea that time :) Since daddy is a busy businessman, we rarely go to travel now. Fortunately Independent Day in 2011 was during Hari Raya and finally my daddy could take a one week holiday and brought all of us to Taiwan ! Yay :D

There suppose to be another trip to Perth during CNY in 2012, unfortunately... ... My EdExcel Exam falls on CNY, so, it called off :( *long sighhh*

October
I have a beautiful shelf in my room specially designed by a designer just for those small trophies I got from kindergarten until now but you cant spot one medal on the shelf. OH well, because Im not good in sports. Medals are usually for running competition or things like that.

YET, I GOT MY FIRST MEDAL IN MY LIFE IN 2011 !!!

During the Sri Garden Charity Run !!! The one and only marathon I joined in 2011.
That is Andrew Lew. Thanks him for accompanying me all the way from starting till the end point. puhhhhhhhh.

November
First reward from NuffNang during my birthday - 4 TGV cinemas tickets for any movies. Muahahaha, I want to get a cheque from them by 2012 ! Heeeeeee :)
December
Went for the second photo-shooting in my life. Has been invited by my friend for modeling for Christmas Theme in i-City. It was my first time been there, SO BEAUTIFUL ! Special thanks to Jonathan for fetching me there and back. And thanks a million for the awesome photographers for inviting. I love the outcome ;)

I'm grateful that 2011 has been a great year for me, all of my loved ones are still beside me through thick and thin. For the new friends I've met in 2011, thanks for being part of my amazing life ; For the best damn friends I've met years ago, thanks for making the friendship bond between us stronger. Thanks for everything ! Have a great 2012 a head. It isnt the end of the world okay !! :D
